The Jonas Brothers singer has offered a rare glimpse into how he and ex-wife Sophie Turner are navigating life as co-parents to their two daughters. In a recent interview, Joe Jonas shared that the former couple has found a rhythm that works for their family, emphasizing that their focus remains on the well-being of their children.
"It's about communication and respect," Jonas said, noting that while the split was difficult, both he and the Game of Thrones actress have prioritized creating a stable environment for their kids. He described their current dynamic as "healthy" and "supportive," a far cry from the tabloid-fueled drama that surrounded their separation in 2023.
The singer explained that they have learned to put aside personal differences for the sake of their daughters, ages 4 and 2. "We just want them to feel loved and secure," he added. Jonas also touched on the logistics of their arrangement, which involves splitting time between the U.S. and the U.K., where Turner is originally from.
Fans have praised the pair for keeping things amicable, especially after a brief custody dispute last year. Jonas's comments mark one of the few times he has spoken publicly about their post-divorce relationship, offering a refreshingly mature take on a famously challenging situation. For now, it seems the former couple has truly become co-parenting goals.
