Samantha Busch Talks Parenting After Death of Kyle Busch

Samantha Busch is sharing the difficult reality of raising her children alone after the sudden death of her husband, NASCAR driver Kyle Busch. In a candid new interview, she described the emotional weight of navigating her own grief while trying to remain a steady presence for her kids.

"It's a constant balancing act," she said. "Some days I can barely get out of bed, but I have to. They need me to be their mom, even when I feel like I'm falling apart inside."

Friends close to the family say Samantha has been leaning on a small support network, but the day-to-day responsibilities of single parenthood have been overwhelming. She admitted that simple tasks like making breakfast or helping with homework now feel like monumental efforts.

The couple had two young children together. Samantha did not go into detail about how she explained Kyle's absence to them, but she emphasized the importance of honesty, even with very young kids.

"Children are more perceptive than we give them credit for," she noted. "They feel the sadness in the house. I try to let them talk about their dad whenever they want, even if it makes me cry."

She also acknowledged the public scrutiny that comes with her family's high-profile life. "People think they know what this is like because they saw us on TV or followed us online. They don't," she said. "This is raw. This is real."

Despite the pain, Samantha said she is determined to keep her husband's memory alive for their children. She plans to share stories, photos, and traditions that remind them of who their father was, not just how he died.

"I don't have a roadmap for this," she admitted. "I'm just trying to survive each day and make sure my kids still feel loved."
