Donna Kelce, the mother of NFL stars Travis and Jason Kelce, has revealed the surprisingly simple method she used to manage raising two future professional football players. In a recent interview, she explained that her secret weapon was nothing high-tech or elaborate. It was just a basic calendar stuck to her refrigerator.
"I just had a calendar on my refrigerator," Donna said, describing her approach to juggling the boys' packed schedules of sports, school, and other activities. She emphasized that she never tried to be a super-parent or follow any complex system. Instead, she relied on old-fashioned organization and clear communication. Every practice, game, and deadline was written down in plain sight for the whole family to see.
This straightforward strategy helped her keep track of where both boys needed to be, often at the same time in different locations. Donna noted that the key was consistency and not overcomplicating things. She focused on being present and supportive without burning herself out. Her advice for other busy parents is to find a system that works for them and stick to it, no matter how simple it might seem. The calendar on the fridge, she says, was the foundation that allowed her sons to chase their dreams while keeping the household running smoothly.
