Recently, my mother presented a proposal that left both my husband and me in a state of disbelief. While my husband is enthusiastic about the idea, I find myself grappling with uncertainty. My mother suggested that we could move in with her for a year, during which she would help us financially. In exchange, she would like us to assist her with household tasks and errands.
